Testimonials
"A dedicated and gifted horsewoman"
Jean Claude Racinet

"Sarah is one of the most naturally gifted
riders/trainers I have had the privilege to watch- her
innate 'feel', quiet and stylish seat, and sympathetic,
refined use of the aids, are a rarity. She is also a good
friend. I am just sorry that she lives so far away in the
USA. She is too good at 'hiding her light under a bushel' as
we say here in the UK, and deserves a much wider level of
recognition, which I intend to raise!"

"Your training was invaluable because it taught me the
thought process and physical constraints that ultimately
dictate a horses behavior. You have to know why a horse is
behaving or not behaving in a particular way so that you can
modify your training technique and ensure that the horse is
going to behave in a positive manner. In most cases, you
can prevent bad behavior and accidents from happening."
"You taught me the analytical part of being an equestrian."

"I
have known Sarah Pinney as a friend and horse trainer for
over 5 years. I find her to be the most kind and
considerate equine trainers around. I appreciate the fact
that Sarah attends horse related workshops, seminars and
other activities to stay current with techniques and
information. I applaud her practice of collaborating with
other respected trainers in the field. Sarah is able to
remain consistent in the delivery of her services and style,
which will always make her #1 in my book. I appreciate the
fact that she has more than just years of experience, she
has horse-common sense. By owning her own equines, she
proves that she truly IS involved, not merely
making training her job, but her life's passion."

"I've always
felt that Sarah will be a big name in the horse-training
world. She's an excellent teacher, plus the horses love
& respect her. The animals she works with always look
for her straw hat!"

"Sarah saved my horse. I
rescued an abused, scared, and dangerous Arabian as a
yearling. After 2 years and 4 trainers and many tears,
I found Sarah. She worked with me and my horse and
created a beautiful English Pleasure mount. Sarah has a
gift and is unparalled in her field. "

" Sarah Pinney has trained two of my horses“ with
great success. I first took a Hanoverian to her that I had bought when he was
just weeks old. His mare and sire were around 16 hands, so all indications were
that he would follow suit. This would be desirable as I am only five feet
tall. Although I've been training horses since I was a teenager, that gelding
ended up over 18 hands and was much more than I could handle. Sarah did a
fantastic job with him and she was able to help me find a very suitable home for
him.
Since I was so pleased with the results of our first
experience together, I brought another gelding to her a retired show horse that
wasn't getting enough attention at our home. She worked him into excellent
shape and had him riding in parades and showing in Western shows again in no
time. She used him successfully as a school master until he became too long in
the tooth. We brought him home for his last few years of final retirement.
I would not hesitate to use or recommend Sarah's
services. She does an excellent job, is a terrific trainer and has an extremely
pleasant personality."

I have the
opportunity to observe Sarah training and riding on a daily basis, and I must
say she is one of the most gifted trainers I have come across in a long time.
She is consistent and firm, yet soft spoken and kind, and the horses that have
the privilege to train under her care have a great deal of respect for her. She
has quiet hands, a beautiful seat and makes riding even the most difficult horse
effortless.
My horse and I are lucky enough to be able to train under Sarah's care, and
from the first session she had with my horse, there was a noticeable
difference. With all of the year's Sarah has been riding and training horses,
she continues to thirst for knowledge and better herself with clinics and
training on a regular basis. In my opinion, this makes her an admirable and
respectable equestrian and I feel blessed that my horse and I have had the
opportunity to cross her path.

It's been a joy to work with Sarah as both our trainer and
instructor over the past 2 ½ years. She's transformed my riding,
given me confidence, and taught me how much more there is every
day in working toward my goals as a rider. Her work with
my 17 year old Appaloosa has been nothing short of
transformational, with her help we're working together better as
a team. Using his body more efficiently has improved his
soundness. She is such a graceful, quiet rider that it's been a
treat to watch her take my horse through using classical
techniques and see what he's capable of. Her training with my
husband's Tennessee Walking Horse has helped him achieve a
beauty and balance he never possessed before.

"Justi (Justiciero) is sooooo wonderful...I am so blessed to
have found you and brought you into his life. You have given him confidence
and trust which allows him to be brave and even more caring, not to mention so
well-mannered."
